We ensure the receipt, management, analysis and processing of reports, including anonymous ones, in compliance with the provisions of Directive (EU) 2019/1937 and with the related transposition law, Italian Legislative Decree 24/2023.

Definition

The term "Whistle-blower" refers to the person who reports breaches, to the bodies entitled to intervene, irregularities or offences committed to the detriment of the public and corporate interest .

Specifically, breaches that can be reported pursuant to Italian Legislative Decree 24/2023, the so-called "Whistleblowing Decree" must concern conduct, acts or omissions that harm the public interest or the integrity of the company, of which the Whistle-blower has become aware in the workplace, pursuant to art. 3, para. 2, lett. a), namely:

  • breaches of EU law (e.g. transport safety; environmental protection; consumer protection; protection of privacy, protection of personal data and security of networks and information systems; etc.).

The report (the so-called "Whistleblowing"), in this perspective, is an act of manifestation of civic sense through which the Whistle-blower contributes to the revealing and prevention of risks and harmful situations.

Purpose

The main purpose of Whistleblowing is to prevent or resolve a problem internally and in a timely manner.

The utmost confidentiality is guaranteed on the subjects and facts reported, as well as on the identity of the whistle-blowers, so that the whistle-blower is not subject to any form of retaliation.
