Officina’s 2006 fragrance is an homage to the most recent history of Florence, of which we have witnessed, and of which we have been a part, for the last 800 years. The juicy peach meets the marine notes, sweetened with black currant and illuminated by jasmine. They are balanced by musk and sandalwood and accompanied by an elegant vanilla note. Our Cologne has now lend its unique character to the precious Firenze 1221 editions of Body Cream, Bath Gel and Liquid Soap.

A tribute to celebrate a unique story, deeply intertwined with its founding city. A regal tale, an homage to the gift that Catherine de’ Medici brought to Henry II of Valois, future King of France, in 1533.

The Melograno fragrance by Officina Profumo-Farmaceutica di Santa Maria Novella is a bouquet of sweet oriental floral notes. The scent immediately evokes feelings of warmth and welcome, perfectly reflecting the symbolic meaning of the plant itself. Originally from Persia and later spread throughout the Mediterranean, the pomegranate plant is depicted in ancient Egyptian tombs. The fruit, rich in symbolism, is mentioned in the Song of Songs, appears in the Odyssey, and features in many ancient folk traditions as a symbol of fertility and abundance.
